FAQ

  • A death doula is trained in offering compassionate and holistic non-medical support to individuals and their families journeying through the end-of-life.

The role of a doula is to provide emotional support, advocate for those in the final stages of life, facilitate communication, and help family members navigate the end-of-life process. They can offer guidance on self-care, help with decision-making, paperwork, and provide resources for grief support.

  • No, I offer support to individuals who are not currently ill or dying but are contemplating their own mortality, planning for the future, or addressing existential concerns. This can look like getting paperwork in order to ensure your wishes are met when the time does come or being coached through developing your end-of-life vision.

I believe starting the conversation around death early can help us to live well and ultimately to die well.
